Xoming up I'm going to introduce you to the Ganesha ultralight folding gasification stove so stick around hi this is OCD Hunter bringing you tips tricks DIY hacks and other useful ways that my OCD can help make your life a little bit more simpler
today I'm just going to give you an introduction to the Ganesha gasification wood stove so what this is is an ultra light foldable gasification stove the first one on the market there's a lot of gasification stoves out there that are bigger and bulkier but this one with the fact that it is foldable it's very easy to pack it's super light and it works great so first let's talk about the case it comes in this fiberglass silicone covered case that just is connected with a strap and then everything else is in here what's nice about this case is you can actually use this as the ground cover they said it will discolor but it won't burn but one thing you want to be careful of is the transfer heat through this still will catch organic material on fire so you want to make sure you clear your area of leaves or anything else underneath it to prevent the heat transfer through
inside the cover you'll find the Ganesha gasification stove I've also added a few extra items that do not come with it this is a Pathfinder Grill the 6 and 1/4 by 4 and 3/4 I think size and then I just have some thin tin stakes that I used to use with my Ikea wood stove and I'll show you how I use these later to make this product a little bit more diverse for for my needs setup is really simple and quick inside you just open up and put the base down and then connected to it they have the top that just slides over sets up super quick now what this foldable gasification stove is going to replace is my homemade Ikea wood stove and I have a video on my channel that shows you how I made this and it's a great little stove it's cheap but it's not light at all when you compare that this is only 7.8 oz to this and it's foldable and easier to carry it's a no brainer to get rid of this but the advantage of this gasification stove also is that you can pull the insert out and use this as just a straight up wood twig stove and it now becomes the exact same thing as this the good thing about this is is you basically have two stoves in one you have the wood stove or you can put it in and turn it into the gasification stove one of the reasons why care of these extra things is I can put my tin stakes into these holes and simply set the smaller pot on there and in this case this is a Stanley 2 cup cook set now the other thing I carry is this bushcraft grill and what that allows me to do is I can set that directly on top of it and once again it gives me the ability to cook the smaller cook set so I don't even really worry about the pot size cuz I now got that added to my kit when I got the kit they sent me this titanium pot by MSR and they're saying that this is one of the sizes that um they think works really well with it it's just a little bit bigger than the one quart bush pot from Pathfinders but like I said the ability to put this grate on there just gives me the advantage of being able to cook multiple things now the other thing the reason I like that bushcraft grill is because you know this is titanium and it's made from pretty thin stock but you know with like anything that's super light metal you want to you know just be careful with it but by putting that in there it gives it a little bit more stability and rigidness that I don't necessarily have to worry about bending the set
so there's a quick overview of the Ganesha gasification stove this is just one of a few videos I'm going to make this is just like I said an overview I'll show you it in use I'll talk about gasification stoves and what makes them different than wood stoves so stick around for more of those videos well there you have the introduction on the Ganesha foldable gasification stove I will have more videos on this to show you an action but I just wanted to get this out there first so you can see what it was like now this stove right they offer it in two different styles one in a stainless steel which will probably be a little bit less than $100 and one like this which is a titanium which will be a little bit more than $100 so stick around and I'll have some more videos on this and I'll go over it in a little bit more detail
