Hey everyone Morgan here Let's get to cooking outdoors Of course on day one it is coffee first We're doing breakfast and dinners for three days We're going to make some eggs with a little bit of bacon bits Ooh yeah I know what you're going to say This looks delicious Can I have some You absolutely can if you just get this Ganesha stove Just be aware this has been out in the sun This is cast iron so this can be cleaned up We've just had out in the sun We haven't cleaned it up yet but this is a black stone and it's totally fine We just need to clean it up but we just haven't Our bad

This probably took me about 30 minutes probably less than that honestly Probably took about 20 minutes or so Really didn't take very long at all you know you get it up and going you get the fire going that water boiled in like five minutes because the it was so hot and then this cooks you know another 5 10 minutes So super easy Day one breakfast complete I very rarely cook or use the stove or anything for lunches unless I'm making mac and cheese And my plan I do not plan on making mac and cheese at all with the ganesha or outside or anything So we usually have sandwiches or you know just like a tuna salad So chicken salad something like that So make very simple stuff for lunches We do not do that So it's only breakfast and dinners that we are doing for these three days For day one dinner we're going to be making kind of like a Spanish rice with chicken and beans and things like that

So right now we're making the rice and then I'm going to mix everything else with it As you can see here we have our sticks and our bundle and all that But yeah and then we have the pot with the rice in it right now cooking From start to finish this took 20 minutes Let's go and just take a quick little bite Oh everything is cooked through perfectly Oh this tastes amazing I could use like a little bit of like spices which I haven't added yet But don't forget to extinguish your morning It is a gosh dang beautiful morning It's time for another morning So there's ashes in here Every time I come out here I dump it Dump the ashes from last night This is a Blackbeard fire starter You know you don't even have to do breakfast You know there's lots of no cook breakfast lunch and dinner options I actually gave a free PDF download to my newsletter peeps um for a two week no cook meal ideas you know you don't always have to cook but of course I'm going to do it because I'm going to do it for you guys and I'm going to show you it can be done The mosquitoes are out in full force this morning but I have my homemade bug spray which works really really well So you know with a homemade one you have to reapply like every I don't know 30 minutes or so but worth it

When it comes to preparedness you know like we have the propane bottles and propane and stuff like that but when it really comes to like off-grid and like self-reliance and like I'm not going to rely on the propane you know I'm not going to rely on that stuff I'm going to rely on fire And if you don't have like a big backyard or anything like that something little stove like this is a really good idea Like you could put this on a a few bricks on your patio or something and and do this And this takes like little you know sticks and things You can go collect sticks you know Of course you can get firewood and just chop it up but it is very fuel efficient is what I'm trying to say Very fuel efficient

For day two breakfast we are going to be making French toast I got four pieces of French toast to make right after the coffee That one got a little burned The burn pieces are the best pieces I just did like a sweet scene showing you all my behind the scenes of how I do this and then I wasn't recording Take two I have one and a half more breads to use and three more sticks Can I do it with only three more sticks Let's see Cheers Last one And I got one more stick left But I just put two the two other ones in there So let's see So my baby was awake at 5:30 this morning I think we're going to do it I think we're going to do it I don't even think I need this last one I still got my last stick The sun appears for me in all my glory What is on my shirt And that's my wood pile that I have left for the next day and a half

It's dinner time For dinner on day two we are making some turkey tacos And I actually thought this was ground turkey but this was ground chicken sausage So but whatever It still is going to be made into tacos Where's the baby Well husband has been taking care of her while I'm out here So so nice That will be the case tomorrow So we'll see I should have showed how many pieces of wood I start out with and then how many I end up using Uh but maybe tomorrow There's still another day If I didn't have any tortillas or anything I would eat it just like this I would have a little bit of rice on the side open up a can of vegetables That's it right Like sometimes you just don't have to get complicated about it but we are having tacos So from start to finish this took me about 15 20ish minutes in between there It's not wasn't exact 15 not exact 20 but uh somewhere in there 15 to 20 What did you just say I said this kind of gives us a real good idea of what we can do on a daily basis with that little stove Boom I mean isn't that the whole point you know to figure out what you can and cannot do especially you know with whatever preps you have I have this stove and I'm going to cook with it make with it You know you don't have to do a three-day challenge like me but you know like use your preps You know figure it out Do something with your preps

Good morning It's me and baby this morning We're going to make a little bit of coffee See if we could do this It's really not a big deal nice is I got all my tinder sticks all ready Preparation is key when it comes to doing anything being a prepping channel and all Like I get everything ready Like the water is already in here My coffee is in my cup so I could just pour it in when it's ready Yeah everything is just good to go So onehanded here ta-da You know like I've said before you don't always have to cook a meal You know you don't always have to have a hot meal uh you know but I do have to have coffee So why are my other children you may ask They're still sleeping Yeah Sleeping This one likes to wake up early And there we go I'll get you some water inside Woo it's late

Got to get some dinner going It is 7:00 the last day doing this challenge And I got to say I have really loved this challenge This time I remembered I'm going to show you guys exactly how many I used Okay I got 14 here For day three dinner we are doing a chicken fetuccini alfredo except not with fetuccini with egg noodles And I normally make dinner at like 4 Yeah I make an early dinner Okay we we like to eat early All right I normally have dinner by like 4:30 or 5 ready And everything that I'm making out here I would make the exact same thing indoors and it takes me just about the same amount of time So it's pretty interesting It's taken 20 minutes and almost all of the wood that I laid out to get it to a boiling point but it is so windy right now So you know it's not it's not doing it any favors right now I need a really good really good windshield But it is windy Look at that So it's like not directing the flames where I want to go Stand back One of the reasons this has been so easy and how it could be easy for you to plan your meals no matter what type of off-grid you know or no electricity options you choose is by planning I keep telling you guys over and over again and have meal plans What are you going to make If you can make your meals inside then you can make them over a flame too You may have to do slight adjustments like instead of fresh vegetables you might have some canned vegetables or whatever right So you might make slight adjustments I love anything one pot meal indoors So yeah I'm going to like anything one pot meal outdoors as well Okay If I have to switch between pans and pots and stuff like that I will I don't like to Of course think making things like bread or something like that It's going to take a little more time and and you know just a little more time That's basically it And monitoring of you know the fire or whatever source you're using But that's pretty much it

I have 4 minutes left and this is the last piece of wood Can I make it Oh 1 minute left And look at how strong these are going I only use 14 sticks and that's even with the wind blowing crazy This thing is super efficient These are about the size that I've been using this whole time 14 of these for a a total of about 30 minutes Amazing It was 20 minutes to get it to boiling and then 8 minutes to cook So I'm rounding you know is 30 minutes So amazing And a ding ding ding That is it That's me future garden you're looking at there

All right This is chicken and Alfredo I'm adding to this Please keep it in the pot That's it Flies are swarming They want it When you're done using it you can break this down super duper easy
